LEWISTON – Tom Hayward of the Stanton Bird Club will lead a fall walk through Thorncrag on Saturday to hear and see the birds and the changing colors of the foliage.

Binoculars will be supplied for those who don’t have their own.

The free walk will be held rain or shine.

Those going should meet at 7:30 a.m. at the new sanctuary parking lot on Montello Street.

The group will return to the parking lot by 11 a.m.

The Stanton Bird Club is a conservation organization offering monthly natural history programs and field trips throughout the state.

New members are welcome and their dues help to support land stewardship at three sanctuaries owned and managed by the club in Lewiston and Monmouth.
