NORWAY – Keith Babbidge, 34, of South Paris died Thursday, Sept. 13, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
He was born at Portland, on March 29, 1972, to Jonathan and Doris (Gendron) Babbidge.
He had worked as a truck driver and a mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, stock car racing at Oxford Plains Speedway and Wiscasset Speedway. He really enjoyed the sport of Mud Running. He had won numerous trophies at the speedways and mud running. He was a member of the Maine Mud Bog Association, Western Maine Rabbit Breeders Association, and the Essex County Rabbit and Cavy Breeders Association of Topsfield, Mass.
He is survived by his fiancée, Nellie Emery of South Paris; his parents, Jonathan and Doris Babbidge of West Paris; three children, Chase Babbidge, Quinn Babbidge and Timothy LaGrange, all of South Paris; one sister, Charlene Nieves, and brother-in-law, Donald, of Poland; maternal grandparents, Marcel and Jeannette Gendron of Old Orchard Beach; paternal grandparents, Albert and Phyllis Babbidge of Pownal; two nephews; one niece; and many friends at B&F Auto.
He was predeceased by a niece.
