LEWISTON – The wedding of Stacey Dawn Morin and Gregory David Amos was held at 10 a.m. July 21 at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston. The Rev. Brian Blanchette officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Amos is the daughter of Donald and Sharlene Morin of Monmouth. Mr. Amos is the son of David and Diane Amos of Greene.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless organza corset gown with beaded metallic lace on the bodice, skirt and chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of red roses and stephanotis.

A sister of the bride, Stephanie Wright, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Charpentier, cousin of the bride, Kathleen Sawyer, sister of the bridegroom, and Amber Griffin, friend of the bride.

Performing the duties of best man was a brother of the bridegroom, Michael Amos, and ushers were James Pelletier, cousin of the bridegroom, Jeffrey Amos, brother of the bridegroom, and Pat Longchamps, friend of the bridegroom. David Amos, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to New York City. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Maine at Machias. She is a first-grade teacher at Sabattus Primary School.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Central Maine Technical College and is a self-employed master electrician and co-owner of Amos Development.
