GRAY – Neal and Lesli Weiner of Gray are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jocelyn Weiner of Washington, D.C., to Nicholas Mitchell of Washington, D.C., son of James and Suzi Mitchell of New Fairfield, Conn.

Miss Weiner is a 1998 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2003 graduate of Brown University in Providence, R.I., with a bachelor’s degree in political science and Middle Eastern studies. She is currently a graduate student at the Government Department of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Mitchell is a 2000 graduate of the American School of Paris and a 2004 graduate of Brown University in Providence, R.I., with a bachelor’s degree in materials engineering. He is currently an elementary school science teacher for St. Stevens-St. Agnes School in Alexandria, Va., and a graduate student in the education department at the University of Maryland in College Park, Md.

An October wedding will be held at Poland Spring.
