TAMPA, Fla. – At 35, Joey Galloway isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. Just ask the bewildered New Orleans Saints, who never seem to be able to catch up with Tampa Bay’s speedy receiver.

Galloway caught four passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns, tormenting the Saints for the sixth straight game between the NFC South rivals and leading the Buccaneers to a 31-14 victory Sunday.

The Saints (0-2) were embarrassed for the second consecutive week and have been outscored 72-24 after having one of the NFL’s most explosive offenses and reaching the NFC championship game last season.

Before Mike Karney scored on a 1-yard run late in the third quarter, New Orleans had surrendered 62 straight points since leading Super Bowl champion Indianapolis 10-7 late in the first half of the season opener.

The Colts pulled away from a 10-10 halftime tie to win 41-10, and Tampa Bay built a 28-0 lead on Galloway’s touchdown and a pair of 1-yard scoring runs by Carnell “Cadillac” Williams.

Jeff Garcia completed 10 of 16 passes for 243 yards and no interceptions for the Bucs (1-1).

Galloway has had some of his best games as a Buccaneer against New Orleans, scoring 10 touchdowns – nine receiving and one on a punt return – in six meetings.

Drew Brees was 26-of-44 for 260 yards with one touchdown for the Saints.

He set up Karney’s TD with a 58-yard completion to David Patten and threw a 4-yard scoring pass to Marques Colston late in the fourth quarter. But the Saints quarterback never got into a rhythm against the Tampa Bay defense.

The Bucs forced two turnovers, converting Deuce McAllister’s first-quarter fumble and Cato June’s third-quarter interception into touchdowns.
