AUBURN – Norman S. Lavoie, 67, of Montello Street, Lewiston, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 15.
He was born in Ontario, Canada, on Feb. 20, 1940, a son of Albert and Florence (Bergeron) Lavoie. He moved to Lewiston in his late teens and began working in the mills.
He worked at Clark Shoe for more than 20 years. He then began his own DJ service, All Around Sound, and was the DJ at Bert’s Resturant in Lewiston for several years. He loved music off all kinds, barbeques, and family gatherings. He will be missed greatly by all.
He is survived by his mother, Florence; wife, Doris; daughters, Venise Labonte, and companion, Chris Clark, of Auburn and Tina and Normand Thibodeau of Lewiston; brothers, Donald, and wife, Ann and Rene, and companion, Claudette; sisters, Denise, and husband, Jerry Legere, Elize, and husband, Charles Pellitier and Claudette, and husband, Bob Lacombe; two granddaughters, Christina Thibodeau and Bria Duval; a great-grandson, Antonio Iadorolo; and a special son-in-law, Michael Labonte.
He was predeceased by his father, Albert; and his brother, Gill.
