LEWISTON – Casey Edward Labbe of Lewiston died Monday, Sept. 17, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

He was born in Norway, on June 23, 1986, the son of Edward Labbe and Susan (Stevens) Maddox. He attended Lewiston High School, and was currently employed at Martindale Country Club.

He was planning to join the U.S. Marine Corps in two weeks. He loved family gatherings, music, football, camping with family in Sebec and Milo. In his younger days, he was a member of the Young Marines.

He is survived by his father, Edward, and wife, Francine (Mathieu) Labbe, of Lewiston, with whom he made his home; his mother, Susan, and her husband, Michael Maddox, of Tempe Ariz.; his maternal grandparents, Normand and Delores (Perry) Stevens, of Jackman; paternal grandmother, Rachael (Gagne) Painter of Auburn; paternal stepgrandmother, Louise (Marquis) Labbe of Lewiston; one brother, Eric Boutot of Tempe Ariz.; one sister, Peggy Medina, and her husband, Marcos, of Mesa, Ariz.; godparents, Paul Ouellette, and the former Kathy Marquis; nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Lucien Labbe; and an uncle, Edouard Labbe.
