WILTON – Funeral services for Kermit F. McAuley were held Monday at the Wiles Remembrance Center, with the Rev. Henderson, the Rev. Heuring and the Rev. Trask, officiating. Sharon Phelps was soloist. Pallbearers were sons-in-law, Scott Pulkkinen, Dick Perkins and John Powell, grandsons-in-law, Jeff Files and John Connolly and nephew, Wayne Buzzell. Honorary pallbearers were brothers-in-law, David Robbins, Ernest Robbins, Sherwood Robbins and Walter Robbins, sister-in-law, Barbara Buzzell, camp neighbor and longtime friends, Dan and Eileen Masterman, Army buddy and longtime friend, Cecil Nowland, only living cousin and dearly loved, Leona Donaher, longtime friends, Joe and Clarice Dunham and close neighbor and adopted family member, Maxine Moore. Committal services were at the Demeritt Cemetery, Peru. The flag was presented to his wife by son-in-law, John Powell. After services, the parish fellowship of the Church of the Nazarene hosted a family reception at the Dixfield Congregational Church.
