AUBURN – Ben Hartnett drilled home Ethan Grund’s indirect kick from outside the box midway through the second half to lift Edward Little to a 2-1 boys’ soccer victory over Oxford Hills.

Eric Prue had given the Red Eddies (5-1-1) the early lead, but Alex Kumaki scored 10 minutes later off a scramble in front to tie the game for Oxford Hills.

Josh Mains made eight saves for EL, while Joe Rand was credited with 10 saves for the Vikings.

Brunswick 4, Leavitt 3

TURNER – Matt Peabody converted a pass from Jake Springer just two minutes into overtime to lift unbeaten Brunswick to a 4-3 victory over Leavitt in a KVAC matchup.

Hansen Mason led the undefeated Dragons (8-0) with two goals, while Shane Moulton also tallied to complete the scoring. Zack McMillan made eight saves in net to notch the win.

L.T. Sierra paced the Hornets (1-5-2) with a pair of goals, while Ben Parkin also scored with an assist from Jacob Mailloux. Zach Caldwell turned aside 14 shots between the posts for Leavitt.
