BOWDOIN – Stanley and Melodie Burnham of Bowdoin were recently honored at a surprise 25th anniversary party held at the New Auburn Social Club.

Mr. Burnham and the former Melodie Harmon were married on Aug. 14, 1982, at the West Bowdoin Baptist Church in West Bowdoin.

The couple has two sons, Adam and Christopher of Bowdoin, who presented their parents with a trip to Charlotte, N.C.

A cake with the original wedding colors was made by Mrs. Burnham’s aunt, Jennifer Harmon. A scrapbook celebrating the couple’s life was made by Mr. Burnham’s cousin, Linda Carpenter.

Original wedding attendants present were Holly Young Fournier, bridesmaid, Gwen Logan Rioux, bridesmaid, Michael Harmon, best man, Brian Pratt, usher, and Michael Burnham, ring bearer.

Mrs. Burnham is employed in the office of Chans Home Health Care of Brunswick. Mr. Burnham is self-employed and owner of S&B Foundations of Bowdoin.
