BRUNSWICK – The Bowdoin College football team snapped Williams’ 14-game winning streak and beat the Ephs for the first time since 1979 in a thrilling 28-14 victory at Whittier Field on Saturday.
The Polar Bears (1-0) were led by Oliver Kell’s 15-of-29 passing for 216 yards. Jeff Smith was the leading rusher with 52 yards while Ian Merry made four catches for 95 yards.
