DIXFIELD – Savana Ford scored at 22:19 of the second half to lead Mountain Valley to a 2-1 victory over Dirigo in MVC girls’ soccer action.

The Falcons held a 1-0 halftime on a goal by Kristen Blais. Brittany Palmer scored at 2:15 of the second half for Dirigo to foil the shutout bid by Falcons’ goalie Karri McPherson, who finished with five saves.

Lanette Bryant was credited with seven saves for Dirigo.
