Lewiston – Ida B. Derosier, 86, of Mad Bulldog Road, Sabattus, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 22, at Montello Manor.
She was born in Auburn on Sept. 14, 1921, the daughter of David and Lucie Pelletier Bourbeau and was educated in local schools.
She was married June 29, 1940, to Alphonse Derosier, who predeceased her Dec. 12, 1981.
Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Hill division of Bates Manufacturing Co.
Ida was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Lewiston senior citizens and Horizon 55. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, plastic canvas, crocheting and bingo.
She is survived by three daughters, Connie Harvey and husband, Albert, of Lewiston, Irene Bingelis and companion, Richard Dubois, of Lisbon, and Paulette Lee and husband, William, of Sabattus, with whom Ida made her home; two sons, Alphonse Derosier of Lewiston, and Paul Derosier of Sabattus; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Yvette Savard of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by a great-grandson, Matthew Harvey; and two brothers, David and Leo Bourbeau.
