LEWISTON – Ina L. Lacourse, 69, of 12 King Ave., Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 22, at her residence.
She was born in Houlton, Oct. 28, 1937, the daughter of Lloyd T. and Pauline (Greene) Connors, and had been a resident of this community for most of her life. She was a graduate of Bingham High School, class of 1957.
She was married to Joseph L. Lacourse on May 1, 1965, and he died on June 18, 1994.
Ina loved to garden, pick berries, travel and just loved living life. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Pauline Connors of Bangor; one son, Joe Lacourse of Lewiston; two daughters, Kathy Lacourse and her companion, Randy Martin, of Lewiston, and Joleen Mills and her husband, Bob, of Livermore Falls; two sisters, Nancy Henry of Bangor and Eloyd Hooper and her husband, Bob, of Falmouth; six grandchildren, Miranda Lacourse, Justin and Trevor Martin, Monica Lakin and Sean and Ryan Mills; one great-grandson, Austyn Castonguay; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father.
