Greenville – Sylvia Christine (Wilt) Clark, 93, died Sept. 23, at a Greenville nursing home.
Sylvia was born May 30, 1914, in Greenville, the daughter of William A. and Christine Ella (Barnes) Wilt.
She graduated from Greenville High School and the Maine School of Commerce, (Husson College), in Bangor.
She was employed for 10 years by Dun and Bradstreet.
She worked for Guilford Trust Co., and later Norstar Bank, now known as Bank of America, for 31 years, retiring in November of 1980.
Surviving are two sons, C. Donworth Jones and his wife, Virginia, of Mexico, and Ronald S. Jones and his wife, Sharon, of Greenville; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and special caregiver and friend for many years, Shelley Jardine.
She was predeceased by husbands, Charles Berry Jones and William (Bill) Clark Jr.; two brothers, Philip B. Wilt and E. Stanley Wilt; and lifelong friend Phyllis Rowe.
