LISBON – The first meeting of the five-town school reorganization planning committee will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in health rooms 1402-1403 at Mt. Ararat Middle School in Topsham.

The purpose is to meet members from other towns to discuss consolidation of Lisbon and SAD 75, which comprises the towns of Topsham, Harpswell, Bowdoin and Bowdoinham.

Also, to organize the larger reorganization planning committee and create subcommittees to begin work on the required elements of the school consolidation plan.

Members of Lisbon’s committee are Prudence Grant, E. Charles Smith, Gina Mason and Martha Poliquin.
