BRYANT POND – The Maine Conservation School will hold an open house and turkey shoot on Saturday Sept. 29. The event is free and open to sporting clubs from all corners of the state.
Those attending will meet the new executive director, Linda Walbridge, and new program director, Ryder Scott.
The facilities will be open for use and families are encouraged to bring children. The new sporting clays range will be open in the morning and there will be a turkey shoot in the afternoon. A free lunch will be served.
For more than 50 years, the Maine Conservation School’s summer camp and school programs have introduced children and adults to a blend of safe outdoor fun, environmental education and practical outdoor skills. The summer camp season runs from June 24 through Aug. 24.
