OCOTILLO, Calif. – John G. “Jack” Wight, 54, of Ocotillo, Calif., died unexpectedly, Wednesday, Sept. 12.

He was born Jan. 24, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Kenneth and Ann Wight. The family relocated to Turner. He was educated in the Turner school system and later enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and was stationed in Scotland, before returning to the states and moving to California.

He is survived by two brothers, Edward Brammer and wife, Mitzi, of Ocotillo, Calif., and Robert Brammer and wife, Sue, of South Paris; three sisters, Margaret Duguay and husband, Robert, of Tucson, Ariz., Linda Childs and husband, Guy, of North Turner and Eleanor (Louise) Brammer of Auburn; many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; one great-great-niece; and one great-great-nephew.

He was predeceased by his parents; and a son, Timothy Todd Sickmiller.

He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
