LISBON – The Lisbon school reorganization planning committee met with SAD 75 committee members Wednesday night, electing Martha Poliquin of Lisbon and Bob Hill, SAD 75 board member co-chairman.

It was voted to set up three subcommittees dealing with general needs, finance and employee/bargaining. All members from both RPCs signed up to serve on each subcommittee.

Representatives of the school committee, town governments and the community will serve on the subcommittee.

There will also be student representatives, one from SAD 75 and one from Lisbon, to act as advisory members to the RPC.

It was also decided that the method of voting on the new five town RPC will be one person, one vote, on organizational issues that come before the panel.The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., Oct. 10 at Mt. Ararat Middle School in Topsham.
