Weight loss talk

BRIDGTON – Bridgton Hospital will host the chief of bariatric surgery at Central Maine Medical Center, Dr. Jamie L. Loggins, for a free informational program about weight loss surgery on Tuesday, Oct. 16.

Loggins and members of the Central Maine Bariatrics professional staff will provide a general overview of obesity and weight loss surgery options. The program will include a question-and-answer session.

The program will be held in the clinic wing from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Special guest will be Nicole Cormier of Harrison, who has lost more than 180 pounds.

PARIS – The Paris Department of Parks and Recreation hosted the Moore Art in the Park, art show and festival, recently. The winner of the sponsor’s choice award was Emmy Anderson of Poland.

Craft fair set

OTISFIELD – An Otisfield Community School craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.
