Women’s training

FARMINGTON – Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community will offer a six-session assertive communication training at the Farmington Center, 108 Perham St., from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, Oct. 9 to Nov. 13.

The interactive workshop will show how to communicate in an honest and direct manner that can help participants express themselves positively and respect others at the same time.

Women, Work and Community provides individual assistance and group training in building careers, starting and growing businesses, planning for financial security and becoming community leaders. All services are free.
