MEXICO – Mexico Public Library will host a “Holiday Prelude,” a fall/holiday card-making and stamping party, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18. The evening will be led by Cindy Welch and Elyse Briggs.

The event will be held at the Calvin Lyons Hall, lower level of the Mexico Town Office building.

There will be seven projects with fall and holiday themes to work on and take home. Prior experience with card-making and stamping isn’t required. The goal is to have fun. Refreshments and beverages will be served.

The cost is $12 a person. All supplies for the projects are included in this price. To sign up and prepay, visit the library at 134 Main St. anytime before Monday, Oct. 15.

Also on display at the event will be several theme gift baskets that will be raffled off during the holiday season as a fundraiser to benefit the library. For more information, call the library at 364-3281.
