I am frustrated with the lack of NASCAR coverage in the Sun Journal. My area is home to one of Maine’s foremost stock car racing tracks which, to me, means there would be a great amount of interest in NASCAR news, especially during the two weeks of NASCAR racing in nearby New Hampshire each year.
I sputter each day of those two weeks, in particular when NASCAR is at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, N.H.
The chase for the championship is equally as important to NASCAR fans as the Super Bowl is to football fans and the World Series to baseball fans, both of which have reached near-holiday status to some.

Editor’s note: The Sun Journal sends staff to Loudon for every NASCAR race, and often publishes Associated Press accounts.
