Accidents
Lewiston

• A vehicle driven by Winthrop C. Staples Jr., 25, of Brunswick, struck a motorcycle driven by Edgar Grant, 39, of Lewiston, while Grant was stopped in traffic at 3:30 p.m. Friday on Lisbon Street. Grant was knocked from the bike and was examined for leg pain and a cut hand. Damage to the 2008 Harley-Davidson was estimated at $3,000; to the 2008 Ford, driven by Staples and owned by Enterprise Rental, $2,000.

• Monica K. Burns, 45, of Wayne, lost control of her car at 7 a.m. Tuesday while driving along a curve on Main Street. The car bounced over a curb, struck a guardrail and slid down an embankment before rolling onto its roof. Burns suffered an injury to her back in the crash. A passenger, 15-year-old Keighla Burns, suffered bumps and bruises. Damage to the 2005 Toyota was estimated at $15,000. Damage to the guardrail was estimated at $1,500.
