LEWISTON – Narcisse J. Caron, 88, a resident of High Street, Livermore Falls, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 3, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He had been a resident of Russell Park Manor in Lewiston for six months.
He was born on Oct. 29, 1918, the son of Pierre and Adeline (Litalien) Caron and attended Livermore Falls schools. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He worked for Livermore Shoe Co. in Livermore Falls for several years, before his retirement. He enjoyed working on cars and riding his cub tractor.
He is survived by a son, Richard Caron Sr. of Jay; a daughter, Diane A. Roberts and her husband, Tom, of Minot; a brother, John Paul Caron of Sumner; and four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Robin Caron; and a brother, Rudy Caron.
