LEWISTON – Roland W. Forgues, 54, of Turner, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

He was born on Oct. 7, 1952, the son of Robert and Irene (Huard) Forgues. He was a native of Turner and attended Turner schools.

He was a longtime resident of Massachusetts. He loved music, was a musician who played in many bands, a poet and a photographer. He was truly a man of the arts.

He is survived by his children, Naomi J. Forgues, Nathan R. Forgues and Derek R. Forgues; his parents; his aunt, Carmen Larue and her husband, Marcel; and three cousins, Jackie, Christine and Linda.

He was predeceased by his brother, Michael.
