AUBURN – Margaret T. Parker, 94, of Hackett Road, Auburn, died Thursday, Oct. 4, at her home.

She was born Feb. 6, 1913, in Bangor, a daughter of Harry and Mabel (Ladd) Sproul and received her education in local schools, having lived in the Bangor and Weeks Mills area as a child. In 1932, she graduated from Erskine Academy and on Nov. 17, 1935, married Marshall Parker. He died in 1992.

She was a homemaker and she enjoyed needlework and crocheting and had made several wedding gowns. She had a very strong faith in God and worked extensively in Bible education.

She is survived by her four children, Gerald and his wife, Ellen, of Madison, Dana and his wife, Gail, of Farmingdale, Phyllis Powers of Portland and Sharon Livingston and her husband, Robert, of Florida; a sister, Madeline Messer of Bangor; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Oren Sproul.
