LEWISTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Laura Barnes and Mark Stevens, both of Lewiston.

Miss Barnes is the daughter of David and Miriam Clough of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and the late Jon F. Blankenship. She received her GED from Lewiston Adult Education.

Mr. Stevens is the son of Carol Proctor of Sabattus and the late Gordon L. Stevens Sr. He received his GED from Auburn Adult Education and is employed at Old London Foods.

The wedding is planned for August of 2008 in Lewiston.
