DIXFIELD – Jon and Sonia Blaisdell of Dixfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Blaisdell of Oakland, to Dave Robbins of Oakland, son of Donna Robbins of Vassalboro.

Miss Blaisdell is a 2004 graduate of Dirigo High School and a 2008 graduate of Kennebec Valley Community College, in the radiography program.

Mr. Robbins is a 2004 graduate of Kennebec Valley Community College in the machine tool program, and is employed at Machine Solutions Inc.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 23 in Vassalboro.
