LEEDS – Kevin and Joyce Flanagan of Solon are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Meghan Flanagan of Ithaca, N.Y., to Brett Deyling of Old Town, son of Michael and Becky Deyling of Leeds.

Miss Flanagan received a bachelor’s degree in animal and veterinary science from the University of Maine. She is currently a second year veterinary student at Cornell University, College of Veterinary Medicine, DVM, Class of 2010.

Mr. Deyling is a mechanical engineering technologies student at the University of Maine, and is a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps.

A summer 2009 wedding is planned.
