FREEPORT – The Maine Association of Mortgage Brokers will host Bliss Sawyer, a nationally acclaimed mortgage marketing consultant, as the keynote speaker for the 2007 Maine Mortgage Professional Expo at the Freeport Hilton Garden Inn on Oct. 18.

The expo is the third annual offering of brokers association, and mortgage brokers and mortgage bankers from throughout the state have registered for the event. Additionally, more than 20 wholesale lenders and vendors will be participating with display booths and staff.

Other morning speakers include Marc Savitt, president-elect of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, and Will Lund, director of the Maine Office of Consumer Credit Regulation.

Attendees will have the chance to interact with representatives of wholesale lending sources about new mortgage programs and services.

Afternoon sessions will offer continuing education credits for loan officers and mortgage brokers.
