BETHEL – The second in a series of three seminars on “Living Gluten Free” will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Telstar High School.
The seminar will focus on nutrition and incorporating alternative grains and flours into the diet, experiencing food from new perspectives, herbs and teas that are useful to people with celiac disease and gluten intolerance, and relaxation techniques such as breathing exercises and gentle yoga positions that are helpful to the digestive tract, plus other natural approaches to consider.
Suzanne Dunham is offering the seminar.
She is an herbalist who has concentrated on nutrition, especially on gluten intolerance.
Session III is a cooking class. That session will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Telstar High School.
