Kyle Karkos is not guilty.
I guess 8th District Court Judge Mary Gay Kennedy slept through the facts of what happened: racing on a street, running two red lights and obviously not going 25 mph or 30 mph.
The judge said Karkos was “foolish and immature,” and showed “genuinely poor judgment.” A brilliant deduction – I didn’t go to law school and I could have come up with that.
My thoughts go out to Kenny Jellison Jr.’s family.
What a message the judge sent everyone who drives.
I think the actions of Judge Kennedy and Karkos’ lawyer, Leonard Sharon, were “foolish and immature,” and showed “genuinely poor judgment.”
