Mrs. Stacy-Lynn Rouleau is a new staff member at Philip W. Sugg Middle School in Lisbon. She teaches eighth grade math and science. Mrs. Rouleau enjoys both of these subjects because they are challenging for both her and her students. She is excited about getting into more challenging work with her students. Mrs. Rouleau chose these two subjects to teach because as a ESL (English Second Language) teacher she thought these subjects were interesting and she enjoyed teaching them.

Mrs. Rouleau’s passion for teaching goes back to when she was in high school working with students with disabilities. She knew she wanted to be a teacher because of how much she loved working with children. As a child, Mrs. Rouleau’s best friend was blind. She loved doing things with her and credits her friend for her influence and inspiration in becoming a teacher. Mrs. Rouleau chose to teach eight grade because she loves the conversation she indulges in with her students and she also loves this age group.

Mrs. Rouleau attended the University of Farmington and the University of New England. She earned her bachelors degree at the University of Florida.
