BANGOR – Constance H. Williams, 77, of Skowhegan, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
She was born on Sept. 16, 1930, in Skowhegan, the daughter of Alfred and Clara (Roderick) Roy.
She graduated from Skowhegan High School in the class of 1948.
She married Leslie A. Williams Jr. on Feb. 26, 1949, in Skowhegan, and he passed away in 2002.
She worked in the Skowhegan school system as a cook’s helper for 37 years and most recently at Margaret Chase Smith School.
She was a communicant of the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, a member of the Daughters of Isabella Circle 441, she was a past regent of the D.O.I. and a past member of Peter-Shortier American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 16.
She was also a past member of the Arnold Trail square dancers.
She enjoyed going to craft fairs and selling the crafts that she made.
She enjoyed knitting, reading, country music, going on trips, and she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by three sons, Tim Williams of Canaan and daughter in-law, Vera, of Skowhegan, Jim Williams and his wife, Maureen, of Lisbon, and Scott Williams and his wife, Wendy, of Auburn; seven grandchildren, Joshua and his wife, Sherry, Christopher, Alecia and her husband, Brad, Janessa and her husband, Kurt, and Amanda, Benjamin and Micah; three great-grandchildren, Chandler, Sadie and Ian; and several nieces, one nephew and cousins.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Emile Roy and Ernest Roy; and one sister, Cecile Andy.
