Dover, N.H. – Virginia L. Brown, 74, of Lebanon died Monday, Oct. 8, in Dover, N.H.
She was born on Jan. 31, 1933, in Popham. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther Bouy Perkins. For many years, Virginia worked as a private caretaker and nurses’ assistant.
She was a very adventurous woman. She loved the outdoors, especially camping with her family at Ayers Lake, boating, and tending to her gardens. She enjoyed family picnics and parties, and was said to have enjoyed a nice martini every now and then.
She never missed an episode of “Days of Our Lives,” and she enjoyed decorating her home for the holidays, especially Christmas.
Her friends and family will surely miss her loving and outgoing spirit.
Surviving are her children, Lisa Keen and her husband, Kevin, of Lebanon, Patricia Staples and her husband, Charlie, of Phippsburg, Jamie Gilman of Phippsburg; five grandchildren, Amanda Brown-Braswell and her husband, Michael, Timothy Keen, Brandyn Keen, Wesley Staples and Brandy Staples; and a great-grandson, Nicholas Garry Wyatt Braswell.
