FALMOUTH – Richard L. Hutchinson, 78, of Falmouth, died at home on Oct. 8.

He was born on May 6, 1929, in Buckfield, the son of Carroll and Charlotte Hutchinson. He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1948.

Surviving family members are his wife of 52 years, Joanne; daughters, Carol Richard and husband, Ed, of Windham, Stacey Keniston and husband, Peter, of Turner; sisters, Arlene Ricker of Lewiston and June Coyne of West Sand Lake, N.Y. Richard had four grandchildren, Justin, Katelyn, Elise and Sarah; and one great-granddaughter, Chloe. He also had a large extended family.

In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother Glenn Hutchinson.
