LEWISTON – The wedding of Bethann Badershall and Jon Guay was held at 6 p.m. on June 15 at Holy Family Church in Lewiston.
Mrs. Guay is the daughter of AnnMarie Farrell of Farmingdale. Mr. Guay is the son of Jon and Lucy Guay of Lewiston.
The bride wore an ivory satin princess-style gown with champagne wraparound that formed a long train, which was embroidered in ivory. Her fingertip ivory veil was supported by a floral crown. She carried a bouquet of pink and cream tea roses adorned with baby tea roses.
Mistyann Robinson served as maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Jennifer MacKenzie and Angie Cummings, friends of the bride, and Kim Guay, sister-in-law of the bridegroom.
Ryan Guay served as best man for his brother. Ushers were Marty Fournier, Pat Gagnon and Kevin Nichols, all friends of the bridegroom, and Dustin Thibodeau, brother of the bride. Reese Cameron Robinson, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston. On their honeymoon, the couple vacationed at Disney World in Orlando, followed by a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas.
Mrs. Guay is a 2001 graduate of Cony High School and is employed as a CNA at d’Youville Pavilion.
Mr. Guay is a 1996 graduate of Lewiston High School and attended the University of Maine, where he received a degree in criminal justice. He is a patrol deputy for Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department, where he has been employed for the past eight years.
