ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands – The wedding of Muriel R. Corey and Gilman L. Michaud was held March 28 at St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Mrs. Michaud is the daughter of Donald L. and Carmen L. Saindon of Lewiston. Mr. Michaud is the son of Ronald and Lillian Ann Michaud of Van Buren.

The bride, given in marriage by her sons, Alexander and Nicholas Corey, wore a white chapel-length strapless gown with split front.

Laurie-Ann Ouellette was matron of honor for her sister. The flower girl was Amanda E. Ouellette, niece of the bride.

Richard Ouellette, brother-in-law of the bride, was best man. Nicholas Corey, son of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception was held at a later date at the home of a sister of the bride in Lewiston. Following a Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Maarten, the couple is residing in Lisbon.

The bride is a 1986 graduate of Lewiston High School and is office manager at CMMC Minot Avenue Family Medicine.

The bridegroom is a 1982 graduate of Van Buren High School and a 1985 graduate of the University of Maine at Fort Kent. He is material coordinator at Formed Fiber Technologies.
