LIVERMORE – The Washburn-Norlands Living History Center will host its annual Fall Harvest Festival Saturday, Oct. 20. Norlands is a working farm estate operating under methods of the 1800s; the living museum is staffed with historically accurate characters. The organization is dedicated to providing a unique educational experience to its visitors while preserving an important piece of Maine’s history.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the center at 290 Norlands Road. There will be historic demonstrations, an apple pie bake-off, a jack-o’ lantern contest, candy apple making, pumpkin painting, log scoots, games for all ages and more.

Tickets are $3 for adults, $2 for children and $12 for families. Groups of seven or more may contact Norlands for group pricing.

All funds raised from the Fall Harvest Festival will support educational programming at Norlands.
