Dan Shurtleff, a New Sharon contractor, is rebuilding the stairway on the Anson Street side of the Franklin County Courthouse in Farmington. Shurtleff said the stairway has never had any ventilation and it stays wet under them. He will put the same steps back in place after the ventalation is created, he said.
