Jay speaker

JAY – The Jay Hill Neighborhood Watch will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the Community Building on Community Drive. The topic will be “Maine Sex Offender Registry.”

The speaker will be Jay Officer Stephen Wilkinson, who over sees the sex offender registry in Jay. All residents are welcome to attend. For more information, call the Jay Police Department at 897-6766.

Grange sale

NORTH JAY – North Jay Grange 10 will have its annual food and craft sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3. Finger rolls, chips and pickles will be available to purchase for an eat-in or takeout lunch.

Added this year, there will be a baked bean and casserole supper from 4 to 6 p.m., with salads, dessert and beverage included. Takeout will also be available. Cost is adults, $6; children 10 and under, $3. There will also be raffle tickets to purchase.
