ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Susan L. LeCours, 43, of Byron Street, Rumford, died Saturday, Oct. 6, in St. Petersburg, Fla., as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born in Rumford on Dec. 31, 1963, a daughter of Robert and Sylvia (Gates) Hayes Sr. and graduated from Rumford High School, Class of 1982.
She was employed as manager of Viewers Choice Video Store in Mexico. She was a member of the Rumford Falls Aerie 1248, F.O.E. Auxiliary. She always went out of her way to help others and she loved her family.
She was married in Rumford on June 17, 2006, to Timothy LeCours, who survives of Rumford.
Other survivors include her children, Kandi and Joshua Hayes of Rumford; her mother, Sylvia Hayes of Mexico; sisters, Barbara Shotts and husband, Ronald, of Manchester, N.H., and Anna Thurston and husband, Mark, of Andover; brother, Robert E. Hayes Jr. and wife, Monica, of Mexico; several nieces and nephews; and step-children, Brandon and Brianna LeCours of Rumford.
