PORTLAND – The Maine International Trade Center announces an upcoming program, “The New Europe,” to be held from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 25, at the MITC office, 511 Congress St.

Two regional experts, attorney John Gulliver and University of Maine Professor Ivan Manev, will discuss the recent growth, possible barriers and impediments to trade, and growing market potential. Regulatory reform has made changes in government policy toward a more business-friendly climate in Eastern Europe, making it an attractive market for foreign businesses wishing to export, import or invest there.
