RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Adelia “Delia” M. Curato of Rumford was celebrated Wednesday at St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Angelo LeVasseur as celebrant. Altar assistant was George Gionet, organist was Mark Belanger, and readings were given by Cory Beaudoin and Anna Curato. Eulogy was given by Del Goff, Marc Beaudoin and Randy Curato. Music selections included: “Be Not Afraid,” “You Lift Me Up” and Amazing Grace.” Special music included “Sentimental Journey” by Carla Beaudoin on Trumpet, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by soloist Marla Beaudoin, “Minuet from Orpheus by Gluck” by Bailey Kung on flute. Pallbearers were Cory Beaudoin, Marc Beaudoin, Del Goff, Scott Prather, Jeff Bisson and Frank DiConzo. A reception followed the services at the Sons of Italy Hall in Rumford. Interment will be at noon Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home.
