LEWISTON – Larry Ronald Plummer, 65, of Fayette, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born July 12, 1942, in Farmington, a son of Robert and Sadie Plummer. He was educated in Strong schools.

A U.S. veteran, he served six years with the Marine Corps. He worked the majority of his life at Forster Manufactoring between their East Wilton and Strong plants for 27 years.

On May 1, 1971, he married Arlene Ace in Wilton, where they made their home for a short time before moving to Fayette and raising their family.

He was passionate about the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, watching western and war movies, playful teasing of family and friends and Ford trucks.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene of Fayette; children Gary Copeland and his wife, Susan, of Fayette, Nancy Mason and her husband, Robert, of Fayette, Stephen Copeland and his wife, Sherry, of Fayette, David Copeland of Gardiner, Danny Copeland and his wife, Patricia “Patty,” of LeClaire, Iowa, Raymond Copeland and his wife, Patricia “Trisha,” of Wayne and Marlene Crosby of Fayette; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul Plummer of Vermont and Roger Plummer of Canton; sisters, Vilma Cushman of Farmington and Brenda Plummer of Arkansas; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Owen Plummer.
