LEWISTON – A celebration of life service honoring the life of Jo-ann C. Rioux was held Thursday at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. Lewiston Police Department Chaplain Raymond St. Pierre presided at the service and recited graveside committal prayers after a funeral procession to Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sabattus, led by Lewiston Police Sgt. Michael Parshall. During the service words of remembrance were shared by Jo-ann’s step-mother, Cathy Rioux, Jo-ann’s mother, Karen Costley, Jo-ann’s sister, Jenifer Rioux, Jo-ann’s uncle, Jack Rioux, and Jo-ann’s best friend, Robin McDonald, as well as others in attendance. Pallbearers were Jenifer Rioux, Jared Deschene, Ron Abbott, Amber Damon, Andrew Damon, Scott Labonte and Seth Bilodeau. After committal prayers, Jo-ann’s dad, James Rioux shared final words of remembrance and love in honor of his daughter’s life. Then all were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston at the conclusion of services.
