BRYANT POND – Margaret A. Hall, 99, died Thursday, Oct. 18, at her residence in Bryant Pond.
She was born in Rumford, on Sept. 7, 1908, a daughter of William and Ethel (Price) Waterhouse. She was a graduate of Farmington Normal School. She worked summer at the Balsams in Dixville Notch, N.H.
She was a member of the Eastern Star, Rumford First Baptist Church, the Bryant Pond Baptist Church and the Bryant Pond Republican Party, where she served as treasurer and ballot clerk.
She was married in Bangor, on March 14, 1930, to the late John H. Hall Sr., who died in Rumford on Nov. 30, 1982.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss M. Joan Hall of Bryant Pond; two sons, John H. Hall Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Rumford and Gilbert P. Hall and his wife, Christine, of Scarborough; grandchildren, Joan Libby and her husband, Dale, John G. Hall, Stephen Hall and his wife, Lisa, David Hall, Kelli-Lynne Martinez, Laura Hall, Matthew Hall; great-grandchildren, Michael D Hall, Cerissa Libby, Ciara Libby, Olivia Hall, Connor Hall, Malia Martinez and Noah Martinez; a niece, Joyce Hunt; and a special friend, Marybeth Hoover.
