Roy, left, National VFW chairman of the Homeless Veterans Committee, Millie Douglass, center, District 9 Auxiliary president, and Carl Douglass, District 9 commander, recently attended the POW/MIA “Tree of Hope” ceremony at VFW Post 9459, Lisbon. Each year the Maine Vietnam Veterans Vigil Committee holds the ceremony to remember POW/MIAs who are still unaccounted for in Vietnam.
