LEWISTON – Annette M. Poulin, 81, was reunited with her parents, Joseph and Claudia Poulin, her brother Alcide, and her sister Muriel on Oct. 14, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She fought a courageous battle for three months from various complications stemming from a fall in early July.
She was bom Sept. 14, 1926, and raised in Jackman. She and her family moved to Lewiston, where she was employed for more than 30 years at the Bates Mill. Along with this, she dedicated her life to caring for her mother, her brother and various friends.
She was a lover of country music and an avid “Animal Planet” watcher. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her many great, great nieces and nephews.
During her courageous fight, she was surrounded by her family members and special friends. During the last week of her life, she was never alone, and she was looking forward to her journey home.
She is survived by her niece, Louisa Webster of Westbrook; her great-nieces, Muriel Foster of Saco, Nina Murray of Standish, Laura Garnett of Westbrook, Bernice Harrington of Wayne and Melissa Knowles of Buxton; her great-nephews, Daniel Webster of Portland, Philip Webster of Bowdoinham, Joseph Webster of Westbrook, Robert Webster of Florida, and Charles Webster of Saco.
She was most recently predeceased by her niece, Delia Webster and her niece, Joanne Murphy, both of Portland.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and her family. She will be admired always for her courage, her strength, her dedication to her Catholic faith and her ability to love honestly and unconditionally.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at CMMC for the compassionate care that was given to Annette during her three-month stay.
